Hey People!
Another busy Saturday. Watched a pack of 6 and 7 year- olds play baseball while my lovely white skin turned an equally lovely red.
Needed to go into town, only for a few things, however those few things were not able to be purchased in one store. So, an outing that should have taken 1/2 hour took 2.
But, I did get a fun phone call from my 3 year old telling me he had achieved potty poopage. (a big deal for all unaware)
Also, coming home to the smell of fresh cut grass and the sight of my handsome husband mowing sure made me smile.
Now I must make dinner, so I will leave you with a recipe and a scripture.
(Food for stomach and soul, no?)
No more ordering out for pizza when you can make this homemade dough from scratch that tastes better than the pizzeria.(especially if you line the oven rack with stoneware) It has a salty chewiness that truly hits all the yummy buttons.

Amy's Pizza Dough
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 1/2 T. yeast
3 T olive oil (divided)
1 T sea salt
3 1/2 c. flour
corn meal for the baking sheets

In a large bowl, pour warm water and sprinkle yeast over top.
let stand 10 min or till yeast dissolves
stir in 2 T olive oil and salt
mix in flour 1 cup at a time till a sticky dough forms.
knead on floured surface 6 minutes, adding flour if too sticky.
use 1T oil to coat large bowl. place dough in bowl, cover, and let rise 1 hour.
Sprinkle 2 baking sheets with corn meal.
divide dough and roll out into 2 large pizzas or 6 7-inch minis
place on baking sheets and let rest while prepping toppings.
top and bake on preheated stones in a 450 degree oven.
Bake till nicely browned, about 17 minutes
Enjoy!
Today's scripture is the address of this blog.
Psalm 23:5-6
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
